Hi, my name is Laurel and I am a 
Graphic Designer.

 

I began studying graphic design in high school and 

continued to pursue a design degree in college. After a few years of schooling in Michigan I moved to Las Vegas where I finished my Bachelors degree at the Art Institute of Las Vegas and began my career in graphic design. I began working in the corporate world while building my freelance business and am currently a freelance graphic artist in Traverse City. I find it very enjoyable pulling thoughts and ideas from my clients and creating their visions through design.

 

​In the beginning of my life my dad would buy books 

with blank pages and draw in them with a black sharpie to create beautiful abstract coloring books for us. Now,

I find it hard to create anything with a "blank page", thanks dad, but I guess we have to look at the bright side. My creative thought process does not start with 

a blank page, but rather a beautiful outlined drawing

of my clients visions, whether they know they see them or not, then filling them in with color.
